For holiday home guests, we offer a nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms across a 17th Century stone farmhouse and five  separate guest suites.

There are ample separate seating areas for large and small groups to come together including: 

• Spacious main lounge area with two squishy sofas and lounging armchairs 
• An airy library style reception area with Ercol lounge and leather armchairs 
  
• A leather lounge for pre-dinner cocktails or sports games or movies on the 50 inch smart tv
• A quiet and separate "working from home zone" with two person desk, Ercol chairs, access to wifi and printer 
  
• Plus five smaller independent lounges with sofas in the guest suites

We offer a large 40 ft kitchen which has an excellent set up for your own or professional catering; ample counter space for prep and serving, two dishwashers, Belfast double sink, four electric ovens and five electric induction hobs, combination microwave, full size double fridge/freezer, two bar fridges for drinks only and a kitchen island with 5 stools for perching or dining for little ones.

A choice of three local caterers Billy Trigg  and Field 2 Fork and Arabella's Private Dining  are available to come onsite for preparing and serving your casual or more formal celebrations... all have excellent menu choices for all dietary requirements and all budgets so call them to enquire about their options for your special celebration or event supper.

If your group wants to dine out there are lots of local choices that can cater for large groups including Off Grid Gourmet in Clifford,  Chapters restaurant in Hay, Felin Fach Griffin in Brecon, The Bulls Head in Craswall to name just a few of our own favourites.

Bedroom one

Single level double height room with four poster bed, armchair seating area and hospitality table. Also has an ensuite double shower. 

This room can accommodate a travel cot or a blow up bed for children.

(This room has near level access to a nearby parking space and step free access and is wheelchair friendly in the main room and ensuite shower room).

Split level guest suite with downstairs lounge area, upstairs king size mezzanine bedroom and downstairs big bathroom with claw foot roll top bath, separate shower and wc/basin.

This room  has a "click clack" large single sofa bed which can be made up for an adult or a child.

Situated in the main farmhouse, this first floor king size bedroom overlooks the front gardens and is decorated in an eclectic moody style with velvet armchair seating. 

This room has an large ensuite bathroom with bath, separate shower and wc/basin.

This room can accommodate a travel cot or blow up bed so is perfect for families or for a couple with their children next door or for a couple on their own.

Bedroom seven

Situated in the main farmhouse, this elegantly decorated king size bedroom overlooks the front garden and features original art prints from the owners collection.

This room has access to a shared bathroom a few steps away or a downstairs shared shower room.

This room cannot accommodate extra beds or cots but is perfect for a couple with their children next door.

Bedroom eight

Situated in the main farmhouse, this king size bedroom overlooks the mini orchard and fields and is decorated in a contemporary style with botanical wallpaper and a bronze bedframe with forest green accents. 

This room has access to a shared bathroom outside the room and a downstairs shared shower room.

This room can accommodate a complimentary travel cot for under twos,or up to two single blow up beds for children.

Bedroom nine

Situated in the main farmhouse, this double bed size bedroom overlooks the rear garden with views and is decorated in a contemporary style. 

This room has access to a shared bathroom outside the room and a shared downstairs shower room.

This room cannot accommodate extra beds or cots but is ideal for younger guests using existing beds or a couple.

Our outside facilities include...

• Landscaped outdoor seating area for 18 plus people...this special area boasts sensational views across the Wye and is perfect for summer bbq's
• 8 seater "Kirami" cedar clad, wood fired hot tub overlooking the Wye Valley (just bring your own outside towels from home!)
• "Upper Barn" is an festoon lit, undercover but unheated, games room with table tennis table and dart board and fitness/weights area within the rustic red brick barn 
• Large gravelled seating area with kadai overlooking the Wye Valley - next to hot tub and perfect for stargazing
• "Under Croft" is the undercover room with huge table for group crafts/activities within the rustic red brick barn - with festoon lights but not heated
• Aussie style "outback shack" under our ancient Mulberry tree with flexible seating gives open air shade in the Summer and great views across the Wye Valley
• Children's play area under the willow with shaded railway sleeper seating, make this a child friendly haven.
• Private wild fields with magnificent views you can enjoy for bug hunting, quiet yoga, bird watching, tree hugging, hedgerow foraging or just sitting on a picnic blanket enjoying the buzz of quiet country wilderness. The larger of the fields has a 500 tree wood planted Spring 2021, the other houses our mobile lawn mowers aka sheep! Bring long boots for walks in this area, as being a biodiverse area, there are the usual nettles and more!
• Field walks from the doorstep to the public right of way across a stunning landscape – either level circular walks to Hardwick Church or uphill linear or circular adventures to Little Mountain or Merbach to gain even better views.
• Designated parking for up to 10 cars and gated front entrance at roadside with hedgerow borders onto fields
